Recent credits include Musical Supervisor and Musical Director of Kiss Me, Kate and Anything Goes (Barbican Theatre); UK Musical Supervisor on Oklahoma! (Wyndham’s Theatre) and The King and I (UK tour); and Musical Director of The King and I (London Palladium, Dominion Theatre, Theater Orb Tokyo), An American in Paris (Dominion Theatre), The Great British Bake Off Musical (Noël Coward Theatre), Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre) and School of Rock (Gillian Lynne Theatre).

Other Musical Supervisor credits include: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oklahoma!, Annie Get Your Gun (UK tours). Other Musical Director credits include: Crazy for You (Novello Theatre), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Sound of Music (Regent’s Park), Guys and Dolls (Phoenix Theatre), Urinetown (Guest MD, Apollo), Privates on Parade (Associate MD, Noël Coward), The A to Z of Mrs P (Southwark Playhouse), Soho Cinders (Soho Theatre), High Society (UK tour), The Secret Garden (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Stiles and Drewe’s Peter Pan – A Musical Adventure and The Wizard of Oz (Birmingham Rep & West Yorkshire Playhouse).

Stephen also recently conducted the BBC Concert Orchestra recording the music for BBC Radio 4’s First World War drama series Home Front and for Livingston Taylor live with the BBC Concert Orchestra.

He is a graduate of the Royal College of Music.
